A Committee Appointed to Probe Shooting on Prison Bus in Kalutara

The committee appointed to probe shooting on prison bus in Kalutara will inspect the location where shooting took place. Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs D.M. Swaminathan has directed to conclude committee’s investigation within two months. The committee members will inspect the site on Wednesday.

The police investigations have identified the involvement of two underworld gangs in the shooting,  which left seven people dead including two prison guards on 27^th  February 2017.
