Drought Hit 18 Lakhs of Srilankans

Over 18 lakhs of Srilankans are suffering due to drought in 18 districts. Disaster Management Centre has revealed that 252,000 people from Kurunegala and 178,000 people from Trincomale are affected by drought. Puttalam is the worst drought affected District among all other Districts recording 288,784 people affected.
