Election Laws Come Into Operation From Yesterday

In a press conference held at the election secretariat yesterday (11), police spokesman Assistant Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekera said that election laws came into effect as from yesterday (11).

Anyone violating election laws will be prosecuted either direct by the police or under the advice of the Attorney General.
