Fire at Wattala

A fire reported from a plastic factory in Hunupitiya. Fire Brigade  are currently attempting to douse the fire.

The Fire Brigade said that the fire which erupted at around 4 this morning has spread across a large area.
6 fire engines have been deployed to bring the blaze under control.

A spokesperson said that efforts are continuing to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby houses.
