Gampaha Zone Schools Closed Today

The Ministry of Education said that all schools in the Gampaha Educational zone will remain closed today (28) due to adverse weather conditions.

A Ministry spokesperson said due to severe flooding and continuous rain fall in the region, Minister of Education  Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has instructed to close all schools in the Gampaha Educational zone.

Accordingly schools in the Gampaha Educational zone will recommence on Wednesday (30).
