Jaliya Wickramasuriya’s Petition to be Heard on July 18

The Supreme Court has ordered to hear the petition filed by former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US Jaliya Wickramasuriya on the 18 of July.

The petition was filed by the former Ambassador challenging the Appeals Court verdict that disregarded a petition filed by him without a hearing.

A petition filed by former Ambassador Jaliya Wickramasuriya against the decision to suspend his Ambassador benefits was rejected by the Appeals Court on the 29^th of March.
