The Audit Bill will be first forwarded to the Finance Ministry for observations. The Auditor General’s Department will then finalise the Bill after taking Finance Ministry observations into consideration. After confirmation that the Audit Bill is consistent with the Constitution, it will be presented to Parliament by April.
