No School Closure on 4th  

Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said schools cannot be closed according to the whims and fancies of the education unions and the Media.

Due to the false propaganda that schools will be closed on Wednesday 4^th, 42 lakhs of students were badly affected.

He appealed to the people involved in spreading such false information for their private benefits to stop forthwith.

He categorically announced that schools island wide shall not be closed on 4^th.
