Pay Hike Of Rs.100,000 to MPs Approved By Cabinet

On suggestion made by the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe , a proposal was submitted for a review by the Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake.

The proposal to increase allowance for Parliamentarians to Rs.100,000 has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers today.

The allowance will be given to the 225 Parliamentarians.
