Postal Workers Poised to Strike Within 2 Weeks ?

According to the Chief Secretary of  Post and Telecommunication Officers Sri Lanka H. K. Kariyawasam, although the authorities have promised to produce a special cabinet paper to resolve the issues of postal workers, they have failed to do so.

Hence, the Union said that as the authorities failed to fulfill promises made on resolving their problems, they have decided to resort to trade union action within the next 2 weeks.
