He said all political parties and religious leaders have agreed to prioritising and maintaining the place given to Buddhism through the Constitution. Further he said that there is no need for individuals to create unnecessary issues over the role of Buddhism. He stressed that the present government is committed to protect Buddhism by deeds and not by words.
