Lakshman Yapa Appointed as the leader of the SLFP For Matara District.

Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena has been appointed as the leader of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) for the Matara district.

President Maithripala Sirisena handed over his letter of appointment today(22) . This came after UPFA MP Dullas Alahapperuma resigned from the Matara District SLFP leadership post on 19 August.
