The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Central Committee meeting, which was scheduled to be held today (11) has been postponed.
SLFP General Secretary , Minister Duminda Dissanayake, said a definite date for the Central Committee meeting is yet to be decided.
The Central Committee convened on Monday (9) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena this was its first meeting since the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Sixteen SLFP members, who voted in favour of the no-confidence motion had once again made a request to leave the Government.
