The three-wheeler fare would be increased by Rs. 5 per kilometer with effect from today, said Sri Lanka Self-Employed Persons’ Federation Chairman, Sunil Jayawardhana. He said that the fare would increase from the second kilometer of travel, and not the first. In the meantime, several three wheeler trade union have said that three wheeler fares would not be increased.
