Two Spill Gates of Upper Kotmale Opened

Two spill gates of Upper Kotmale reservoir have been opened due to heavy rain experienced in the western slopes of the central hills.

As the rest of the reservoirs are still raining, the spill gates of the reservoir is set to be opened automatically.

Engineers have advised people living along Kotmale Oya area to be cautious.
