This has been attributed to a suspected leak in a pipeline which pumps fuel from the Colombo Port to the Sapugaskanda Refinery. Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation National Workers Union, Ananda Palitha said, that repairs on the pipeline will commence today. Further he said that the frequent breakdown in the pipeline is a result of the corrupt transactions carried out by the previous government.
