Several media reports recently published in local press said U.S. President Donald Trump had signed a visa-free travel policy for Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is not among the countries in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, which enables nationals of certain countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa.
The U.S. Embassy rejected all media reports which claimed the changes in visa policy .
