VAT  Amendment  Bill  Before  Cabinet

VAT  amendment bill is scheduled to be  presented in cabinet today  by Ravi Karunanayake. Delay was  experienced due to disagreement by SLFP Ministers on certain items, which has now been resolved, UPFA Secretary, Mahinda Amaraweera.
