Weather Forecast For 12th September 2017

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western and Southern provinces.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (above 50 mm) are expected at some places, Particularly North-central province and in Matale, Mathara and Hambantota districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
