Weather Forecast For 8th October 2017

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere (particularly in Eastern and Uva provinces) after 2.00pm.

Fairly heavy showers can be expected (above50mm) at some places in the WesternandSabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
