Wounded  6 SAITM Protesters Still Being Treated

When the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine protest commenced last afternoon adjacent to the Town Hall and reached Colpetty by evening, where they were stopped by police.

 Police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesters. A total of 13 students were injured during the protest yesterday.

The Colombo National Hospital sources said,  that out of 13 six students,  who  participated  SAITM  protest march yesterday are still receiving treatment for injuries.
