Price of bread to increase by Rs.10 from next week

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – All Ceylon Bakers’ Association say that they will increase the price of bread by Rs 10 from next week.

Accordingly, a loaf of bread will be priced at Rs 78-83 from next week, Chairman of the ACBA, N K Jayawardena said.

Price increase is due to increase of price of flour, he said.

Current price of a loaf of bread is between Rs 60-65.
