Another 315,121 individuals vaccinated yesterday

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) –  Another 315,121 individuals have been vaccinated against COVID-19 yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 280,011 individuals were administered the first dose of the Chinese manufactured Sinopharm vaccine while, 27,117 persons received the second jab.

Meanwhile, 7,993 individuals received the first dose of the Pfizer–BioNTech vaccine.

Accordingly, 4,053,819 persons have been vaccinated with the first dose the Sinopharm vaccine while 157,368 individuals have been administered the Russian manufactured Sputnik V vaccine.

A total of 39,176 persons have received the Pfizer vaccine.

1,628,876 individuals have been fully vaccinated thus far while, 6,804,481 COVID vaccine doses have been administered in Sri Lanka thus far.
