Landslide warnings in Galle, Kalutara, Kegalle & Ratnapura

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) –  Landslide warnings have been issued to residents of the Galle, Kalutara, Kegalle and Ratnapura districts.

The Level 1 warnings issued by the National Building Research Organization will remain in place till noon tomorrow.

Accordingly, landslide warnings will be in effect in the Nagoda, Neluwa and Elpitiya Divisional Secretariat areas in Galle, the Bulathsinhala and Palindanuwara Divisional Secretariat areas in Kalutara, the Dehiowita Divisional Secretariat area in Kegalle, the Eheliyagoda, Imbulpe, Kuruwita, Ratnapura, Elapatha, Nivithigala, Kalawana and Ayagama Divisional Secretariat areas in Ratnapura.
