Vote on the second reading of the Budget

Vote on the second reading of the budget will be taken today(2.11.2015) evening at 5.00 pm.

Budget for the year 2016  was  submitted to the Parliament by  the Minister of Finance, Ravi Karunanayake on 20th November 2015.

Parliament debate this Budget 2016 between  09.30 and 18.30 hrs for  9 days as from 21st November 2015

The third reading debate on the budget  will commence tomorrow and continue until it will be taken for vote at  5 PM on   19th Dec. 2015.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has ordered  to ensure  presence of all   ruling  party  Members of Parliament (MPs)  in todays’ voting.
