Sri Lankan Government said, if Chairman of Avant Guard abstains from attending the investigations now carried out in connection with the Avant Garde arms ship, Interpol assistance will be sought to arrest him.
As he is obtaining Medical Treatment in a foreign country, he could not attend the investigations, it was stated.
If he tries to escape from the investigation by being there in a foreign country, Interpol assistance will be sought to arrest him.
Further, Sri Lankan government has not entered into any agreement with Avant Garde, Cabinet spokesman Rajitha Senaratne revealed this in a press conference.
