Today Effects of atmospheric disturbance to rainy weather

The Met Department says the atmospheric disturbance still persists in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.

According to the  Met Department showers and thundershowers could occur in many places of the country especially after mid day.

They added that heavy showers of about 100mm are expected in certain areas along with strong winds to accompany thundershowers.
