Galle Face protest enters Day 24

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The anti-government struggle underway at Galle Face enters day 24 today.

The public has continued to pledge support to the protests underway at Galle Face against the President, Prime Minister, and the government.

Speaking to media from Galle Face last evening, trade union leader Ravi Kumudesh said the country belongs to generations X and Y.

He said the government has already put the country on a disastrous path.

Ravi Kumudesh questioned the people as to what the President, Prime Minister, Opposition Leader and other Parliamentarians have done during the three weeks the youth have been protesting at Galle Face.

Kumudesh responded stating such parties were only interested in filling their own pockets.

He accused all leaders of selling the people’s struggle in order to cement their place in the governance structure.
