Genelia opens up about resuming work after 10 years
(FASTNEWS | INDIA) – After a sabbatical of about ten years, Genelia Deshmukh is all set to return to movies with some interesting projects in her kitty.
Talking about her comeback, Genelia told that although she is extremely excited she had these bits of nervous pangs here and there. However, the actress added that she loves acting, interpreting scripts and bringing a part of herself onscreen. Genelia added that she felt welcomed before the camera.
Elaborating further, Genelia stated that she has an extremely supportive husband and the best part is that they try and plan their schedules according to each other’s time. The actress revealed that when she shoots, Riteish becomes the homemaker.
When she was in Delhi, the actor was there with the kids to ensure that she didn’t feel like she didn’t have her home with her. And even she does her best to deal with being away from them, Genelia told.
Talking about setting the right precedent for her children, Genelia added that her kids are at that age when they go to school and are busy. They understand that their mum needs to work.
According to her, it is very important to let them know that because they respect, appreciate and learn from us, which is the most important thing.
On the work front, she will be seen playing the lead in two Hindi films, ‘Mister Mummy’ and ‘Trial Period’. She is also a part of an untitled Telugu-Kannada film co-starring Telugu actor Kireeti. Genelia is also gearing up for her debut Marathi film titled ‘Ved’, which will be directed by Riteish.
