“Manifest” returns on November 4th
(FASTNEWS | UNITED STATES) – Netflix has announced a November 4th premiere date for the return of “Manifest”.
Dubbed Season 4 – Part 1, ten new episodes of the mystery-thriller series arrive on the streamer over a year after it was cancelled by its original network NBC after three seasons.
Shortly before its cancellation by the network, the series arrived on Netflix and rose to the top of the streamer’s Top 10 rankings. As a result, the streamer picked it up for an original fourth and final season a year ago.
The first season of the series spent 16 weeks on the Netflix Top 10 and recently reappeared as it was added to some global libraries back in July.
The series follows the crew and passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, who find that the world has aged five years after they land. The new run begins two years after the murder of Grace (Athena Karkanis).
Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Jack Messina, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Ty Doran, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, Holly Taylor and Daryl Edwards also star.
Jeff Rake serves as creator and showrunner and returns for the new run, compressing what was to be the three remaining seasons of his six-season plan into the supersized fourth season.
