Price of Urea fertilizer reduced

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Fertilizer importers have announced a significant reduction in the price of Urea fertilizer in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, a 50 kg bag of Urea fertilizer will be reduced by Rs. 10,000 and the new price will be Rs. 29,000.

Fertilizer importers said a 50 kg bag of fertilizer used for Tea will be reduced approximately by Rs. 1,000.

They added that the price reduction will come into effect from tomorrow, the 21st of September 2022.
