Parliament to convene this morning

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Parliament is scheduled to convene this morning.

The special Parliament sitting has been called to take up 50 Questions for Oral Answers which were postponed due to various reasons.

Accordingly, Parliament will be in session between 9.30am and 4.30pm today.

Meanwhile, last week, the Committee on Parliamentary Business decided that Parliament will convene on all five weekdays this week.

It also decided to debate the 22nd Constitution Amendment Bill on Thursday and Friday.
