Engine drivers of three power sets withdraw from services

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Engine drivers of S-09, S-10 and S-12 power sets have withdrawn from services along the Kelani Valley Railway Line.

The strike action was initiated this afternoon (10).

The strike was launched over the lack of accommodation facilities granted to drivers.

Several train were cancelled while fewer delays are expected this evening owing to the strike action.
