The number of dengue cases has tripled
(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – According to Dr Sudath Samaraweera, director of the National Dengue Control Unit, 60 people have died from dengue so far this year, most of them children and those under 50.

Over 62,000 dengue cases have been documented so far this year.
According to the Health Ministry, the number of dengue cases this year has tripled compared to the previous.
The ministry also issued a warning that the number of dengue cases may rise in the following days.
