Earthquake in Pallekale area in Kandy last night

Earthquake occurred in Kandy, Pallekalethe area.
The quake occurred last night at 10. 16hrs in Pallekale area of Kandy residents ,said.

Resident heard a big sound of land mass splitting.

People are afraid to stay in the area due to this earth quake.Damaged caused by the earth quake is jet to be determined by the earth quake Disaster Management Department.
