Kotakethana ‘Double Murder’ Suspects Freed

The three suspects to the murder of a mother and daughter in Kotkathena, Kahawatte in 2012 have been acquitted by the Colombo High Court today (28).

The Court stated that there was insufficient evidence to link the three suspects, Namal Chaminda de Silva, Sisira Priyantha Kumara and Lokugam Hewage Ruchira to the murder.
