Letter of Demand for Rs 22 million from Mahela and Sangha

Attorney- in- law, Nishantha Premaratne has  sent a  letter of demand  asking for a compensation of Rs. 22 000 000 from the organizers of “Live events” company, Mahela Jayawardena and Kumar Sangakkara.

Reason is  that the chief guests at Enrique Iglesias concert had to encounter many hardships though VIP tickets had been bought by them.

Meanwhile, Colombo Municipal Council has already blacklisted the company “Live Events Sri Lanka”, owned by Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena due to tax fraud, failing to pay Rs.29 Million to CMC for organizing the concert.

Adding fuel to fire Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara are under pressure now.
