Who is lying ? Rajitha or Hirunika ?

While participating in a TV programme, Hirunika stated that she met Rajitha on the same day an individual was abducted in Demetagoda. This day happened to be the day I meet Public. I normally meet Public between 0900 and 1000 hrs. As on this day I have to meet Rajith, I managed to return to office only at 12.45 hrs. My officials informed me over the phone that people came in large numbers and waiting to meet me. I sent my husband to meet them, Hirunika said.However, in a recent press briefing in reply to a question raised by a journalist Rajitha stated thus” I was not in the Island when this abduction took place. I didn’t speak to Hirunika on this matter. I didn’t know anything about it. In similar circumstances , I never speak. Lot of people have worked for me. Even when they are in such difficulties, I never interfere and speak on behalf of them”.Hence, the question now arises whether Rajitha or Hirunika is lying?
