Case against Hirunika and her Mother for Forcibly occupying a Building

Two residents of Kollonawa  filed a case in Colombo District Court , to get their building back which is reported to have been forcibly occupied by Hirunika , MP and her mother Sumana. On hearing this case today, Colombo District Court has granted leave to proceed. Case is to be taken for hearing on 29th march 2016. In this case Hirunika Premachandra and her mother Sumana Premachandra have been named as respondents.

The petitioners claim that a building owned by them had been obtained by the defendants to maintain a party office and that although they had requested in last  February 2015 , the building has still not been returned to the owners.
