Plot to kill President on Thai Pongal Day-Disclosed by T.Thuwarakeswaran
UNP Jaffna Organizer, T. Thuwarakeswaran in a press conference held in jaffna on Tuesday disclosed
That there is a plot to kill President ,while he visits a camp on Thaipongal day .He has already informed about this to the President ,Prime Minister and Deference Minister.He emphasized the importance of taking precautionary security measures while participating in Thaipongal celebrations. He further mentioned that already an attempt was made to kill him, while he made a visit to the North on 20th.He requested to investigate this matter too. He disclosed Names of those involved in this plot taking full responsibility.
In the meantime Secretary Deference has ordered an investigation on this matter.
