Good news to Grade Five Students Seeking Admission-Scholarship cut-off marks reduced by one

 

As a result of recent inquiry conducted by the Ministry of Education, it was revealed that the cut-off mark was high due to malpractices taking place at several popular schools.

After considering many requests from parents in this regard, Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariawasam ordered the Ministry officials to look in to this matter.
Subsequently in consultation with the ministry officials, Minister has taken the decision to reduced cut-off mark by one (1), which enables more grade five scholarship exam students, who pass the examination to enter popular schools.
