Vacant UNP National List Post to Asath Sali?

AsathSali, worked hard during Presidential and Parliamentary Election. He was promised a National List MP post in the UNP. But when nominations for National List were made , his name has not been included. He got disappointed but continued to maintain a calm approach without making a big fuss. While, Ranil was somewhat blamed by Asath Sali’s supporters President Maithree has said in one of his meetings with the Public that AsathSali would have been given a post in the National List. With the death of M.K.D.S.Gunawardena , Minister of Lands, National List MP,pressure is being exercised by top people in the party to appoint Asath Sali for this vacant post. In Politics anything can happen. Wait and see the development.
