Bacha Khan University In Charsadda Under Terrorists Attack

Charsadda is about 50km (30 miles) from the city.Terrorists have entered the building of Bacha Khan University. Security forces in north-west Pakistan are battling militants inside a university in the town of Charsadda, with two gunmen reportedly killed.

A police official said other attackers were thought to be still holding out on the second and third floors of campus buildings at Bacha Khan university.

Some students have been rescued, Deputy Inspector General Saeed Wazir said. At least three people were injured. It is relevant to mention the fact that more than 130 students were killed at a school in nearby Peshawar in 2014.
