Five Children Trapped in Deep Freezer Died

Early this week  children reported to have died after they locked up accidentally  inside unused items.In this instance two toddlers were killed after playing with two others inside a unused car in Clermont, west of Durban. The car became hot and the children were unable to escape.

When they were eventually spotted they were taken to hospital but spelled dead. Reportedly the other two are still in a critical condition, .

In another incident five children have died after becoming locked up in an unused deep freezer.

The bodies of the children, aged between three and seven, were found by their grandmother around 6pm yesterday in the South African agricultural town of Kakamas, Northern Cape.

Police believe the children, who were all cousins, became accidentally trapped during a game they were playing.

The freezer became locked up and the children suffocated inside, foreign media reported.

Whether the freezer was switched on at the time is yet to be established.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted.
