Accident in Hanwella – Kaduwela Road, One Person Dead

The Police Media Unit said that a lorry and a motorcycle crashed, when the lorry travelling to Kaduwela, Trying to overtake another vehicle parked on the side of the road.

One individual died in an accident that occurred along the Hanwella – Kaduwela Road .The rider of the motorcycle, who was admitted in the Nawagamuwa Hospital in critical condition, succumbed to his injuries following his transfer to the Colombo National Hospital.

The deceased individual has not yet been identified. Police stated that the driver of the lorry has been arrested.
