Earthquake occurred in Jaffna Achchuveli ,Navagiri area.The quake occurred today morning between 02.45 -03.00 am in Navagiri area of Jaffna residents ,said.Resident heard a big sound of land mass splitting.People are afraid to stay in the area due to this earth quake.
The Disaster Risk Management Centre officials said that the vibration has caused by the collapse of underground limestone.However, residents of disaster areas complaint that the quiver caused cracks in walls of houses and small buildings.
