Brutal Assault and Killing in Handapanoda,Padukka

In Handapanoda area in Padukka a person was being brutally assaulted, stabbed and killed.  Ingiriya police have commenced investigations. The victim aged 28, is resident in Padukka. His remains are kept at Padukka hospital. Post- mortem examination is due to be held today (January 27).

In connection with this inciden,three other persons including a woman, have also sustained injuries and admitted to Padukka hospital.One person has been transferred to Colombo National Hospital. The suspects have already been identified by the police.
