Srilankan Voters Increased by 373, 712

The Elections Commissioner says that the number of registered voters increased.

According to the 2015 electoral list, the total number of registered voters in Sri Lanka stands at 15.4 million 21,202. According to the 2015 electoral list,voters  have increased by 373, 712 . The National Elections Commission noted that according to the 2014 electoral list that figure was at 15 million 47,490.

Gampaha district records the highest voter base in the country as per Electoral  Regesitor for 2015.

He added that there are 1.6 million 80 thousand 887 voters are eligible to vote in the Gampaha District, while Colombo holds 1.6 million 40, 946 voters.Vavuniya holds the the lowest voter base in the country,said Deputy
