Mahinda Expressed His Disgust Over Yositha’s Arrest

Mahinda visited his son, Yositha in Welikada prison. On his way back home, journalist intercepted and asked his comments. He told them that “if they arrested him instead of Yositha, it would have been better”. A Doctor, one of the shareholder of the CSN was compromised to name Jositha to implicate him in this instance is what happened, he said. Out of the people arrested some of them are sick and they were not allowed hospitalization, he further said.

In Srilanka, when people of political or other influence are arrested for offences committed by them, they automatically fall sick and admitted either in private hospital or in prison hospital with all facilities. This is a Public Secret.
