Inceasing Drug Use Within Srilanka

It was revealed in a Sinhalese Media that during the years 2014 and 2015 ,Heroin 358 Kg was detected in Srilanka and 49,823 Suspects were arrested. Annual requirement of Heroine for Srilankan stands at 765 Kg .

Ganja seized during the years 2014 and 2015 totaled to 1964 Kg and 6569 Kg respectively. In the year 2014 ,Suspects numbering 43,683 and in the year 2015  Suspects numbering 50,000 were arrested.
